The EU-Ukraine Association Council has emphasized the importance of further strengthening the EU-Ukraine Solidarity Roads, which are important for the import and export of a wide range of Ukrainian goods, as well as for the long-term improvement of communication between Ukraine and the European Union. This is stated in a joint press release following the 9th meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council, UNN reports with reference to the Government Portal.
Ukraine has once again emphasized the importance of ensuring the proper implementation of the mutually beneficial Agreement on Freight Transportation by Road and its extension for the period of 2024-2025.
"The Association Council emphasized the importance of further strengthening the EU-Ukraine Solidarity Roads, which are essential for the import and export of a wide range of Ukrainian goods, as well as for the long-term improvement of connectivity between Ukraine and the EU. Ukraine welcomed the cooperation between Ukraine, the EU and the EU Member States within the framework of the Joint Coordination Platform on Exports and Transit of Ukrainian Agricultural Products," the press release said.
