On the night of March 15 and this morning, the Russian army fired 15 times at the border territories and settlements of Sumy region. The enemy dropped unmanned aerial vehicles, fired mortars and artillery. This was reported on Friday by the Sumy Regional Military Administration, UNN reports.

Velykopysarivska, Seredyno-Budska and Novoslobidska communities were subjected to hostile attacks.
Velykopysarivska community: air strikes by the Ukrainian military (20 explosions), mortar shelling (46 explosions).
Seredyno-Budska community: the enemy fired from artillery (17 explosions).
Novoslobidska community: mortar shelling was recorded (3 explosions).
The day before, on March 14, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Artyukh, reported that the Russian military had significantly increased the number of attacks on settlements in Sumy region. Over 800 explosions were heard in the region in just two days.
