The occupiers do not use the Crimean bridge to transport large-scale military cargo. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces Natalia Humeniuk on the air of the We Are Ukraine channel, UNN reports.
Details
"It (the Crimean Bridge - ed.) is basically in a state of slight "dreaminess" because it would like to fulfill its functions, but something prevents it. It's the weather, or other storms. The design is very vulnerable, very long and very redundant. So, its full-scale use is impossible from a technical point of view - the transportation of large-scale military cargo is dangerous and they do not risk doing it," said Humeniuk.
She added that the Crimean bridge occasionally uses a railroad track, but with a very moderate load. Gumenyuk also noted that this situation affects the occupiers' air defense systems in Crimea, as there is currently no supply of systems to the peninsula.
Recall
In the Black Sea, the occupiers' naval grouping has been almost curtailed due to constant attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. At the same time, the danger of missile attacks remains because the missile weapons that the occupiers have are capable of covering a distance of 2,500 kilometers.
