The court failed to impose a pre-trial restraint on Solskiy, postponing the hearing.

The High Anti-Corruption Court failed to impose a measure of restraint on Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solsky, who is suspected of seizing state land, and adjourned the session until tomorrow. This was reported by UNN with reference to the court session.

"Given the martial law and the need to resolve certain issues in Ukraine, the court considers it necessary to adjourn until tomorrow," the judge said.

Later, the judge clarified that the adjournment was to be until tomorrow at 11 o'clock.

During the trial, Solsky asked the judge to adjourn the hearing because he was allegedly summoned to a meeting of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction.

Prosecutors requested that the minister be held in custody with the possibility of bail in the amount of UAH 200 million.

Also during the hearing, the prosecutor said that the initial idea for the seizure of state land came from Mykola Solskyi. He directed the actions of the accomplices.

On April 23, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine said that the former head of the Verkhovna Rada's Agricultural Committee and current minister was caught in the seizure of state land worth UAH 291 million and an attempt to seize land worth another UAH 190 million.
