According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, bilateral processes between Moscow and Washington continue.
At the same time, he noted that the United States, which acts as a mediator in resolving the war against Ukraine, is currently focused on the situation around Iran.
Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov also confirmed that trilateral talks have been put on hold, but contacts between the Russian and American sides remain.
Details of a possible resumption of the negotiation process are not yet specified.
