The surgical department of the Ovidiopol Central District Hospital in Odesa region has been reopened after major repairs. This was reported by the Odesa Regional State Administration, UNN reported.

During the renovation, the department was expanded by 30 beds for hospitalization of patients.
"The spacious, comfortable wards are equipped with modern beds with adjustable function, which allows for maximum convenience for the patient, transferring from bed to gurney and performing various medical procedures. To improve the comfort of patients' stay in the Ovidiopol hospital, a new air conditioning system was installed, and doors in the wards and bathrooms were installed taking into account the needs of patients and modern barrier-free requirements," the OVA informs.
It is also reported that the deputy head of the regional state administration, Oleksandr Kharlov, visited the central district hospital during his working visit. There he also got acquainted with the work of the therapeutic multidisciplinary department, pediatric department and checked the arrangement of the bomb shelter.
"In wartime, it is especially important to know that the money was not spent in vain. The renovation of the unit was extremely necessary, and I am sure that people's health is worth it," he said.
