The Verkhovna Rada has adopted a bill on the activities of the National Museum of the Holodomor Genocide, which provides for the establishment of supervisory and expert councils at the museum, MP Yevhenia Kravchuk said on Thursday, UNN reports.

Draft law 10361 on the activities of the National Museum of the Holodomor Genocide was adopted as a whole. From now on, the museum will have supervisory and expert councils

- Kravchuk wrote on Facebook.

According to her, the text has been agreed with our partners from Canada. "Let me remind you that it is Canada that will finance the second stage of the museum's construction (currently there is a decision to allocate 15 million Canadian dollars or about 440 million UAH)," the MP said.

"We must preserve the memory of the millions of Ukrainians who were starved to death and the genocide committed by the Soviet government," Kravchuk emphasized.
