Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson won the support of voters in the fourth district of Louisiana and was re-elected to the next House of Representatives.

According to the newspaper, Speaker Johnson won the election over Republican Joshua Morott. Morott actively advocated for the elimination of the Department of Education, the abolition of ObamaCare (the U.S. Health Care and Patient Protection Reform), and the cessation of foreign aid to prioritize domestic issues.
At the same time, Johnson said he wants to continue as speaker if the Republicans retain control of the lower house, but he did not announce his plans if the GOP is in the minority.
