Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal had a conversation with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. Fico condemned the attack on Okhmatdyt. Slovakia has expressed its readiness to accept some children for treatment accompanied by their parents, in particular those with cancer, UNN reports.
We had a conversation with the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico. He informed his counterpart about the Russian attack on civilian infrastructure, which resulted in dozens of deaths and more than a hundred and fifty injuries
Shmyhal told the Slovak Prime Minister about the destruction of Okhmatdyt.
"Robert Fico condemned the attack. Slovakia has expressed its readiness to accept some children for treatment accompanied by their parents, including with cancer. We are grateful for this support. I have given appropriate instructions to the Minister of Health," Shmyhal said.
In addition, Shmyhal thanked Slovakia for its participation in the Peace Summit, as well as for its consistent support on the European integration track, including support for the EU's decision to open negotiations on Ukraine's membership.
We discussed the implementation of the agreements reached during intergovernmental consultations in April this year. We have made significant progress in this direction. We agreed to hold the third joint meeting of the governments in the fall in Ukraine

In Kyiv, emergency rescue operations have been completed on the territory of the Okhmatdyt children's hospital . As a result of the Russian strike, two people were killed and 32 wounded, and 8 children were hospitalized with injuries.
