Russian troops fired nine times at the border areas of Sumy region overnight. They used artillery, mortars and drones, the Sumy RMA reported on Thursday, UNN reports.

"At night and in the morning, Russians fired nine times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. 56 explosions were recorded," the RMA reported on Telegram.
As indicated, Bilopilska, Velykopysarivska, Esmanska, Shalyhinska, Seredyna Budska communities were shelled:
- Bilopilska community: FPV drones were fired upon from the territory of the Russian Federation (8 explosions), artillery fire (4 explosions) and “VOG” type munitions were dropped from an enemy UAV (3 explosions).
- Seredyna-Budska community: the enemy fired from artillery (6 explosions).
- Shalyhyne community: there was an artillery shelling (6 explosions).
- Esman community: Russians dropped 20 mines on the territory of the community.
- Velykopysarivska community: the enemy attacked with mortars (9 explosions).
