Overnight, Russian UAVs carried out three strikes on an energy facility in Zaporizhzhia that supplies a significant part of the city. Energy workers restored power to all consumers within an hour, and over the weekend, power was also restored to more than 17,000 consumers.

Russian troops attacked an energy facility in Zaporizhzhia overnight; there were three drone strikes, and electricity supply was restored within an hour, JSC "Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo" reported on Monday, UNN writes.

Enemy UAVs carried out three strikes at once on one of our energy facilities, which supplies a significant number of Zaporizhzhia residents and a number of critical infrastructure facilities. Our company responded to the emergency as quickly as possible: despite the nighttime, we sent an on-duty crew to the site, which literally restored power to all consumers within one hour after the "impact." Thus, Zaporizhzhia residents simply did not have time to feel the consequences of this attack

- as stated by Andrii Stasevskyi, head of Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo.

According to him, yesterday they also restored electricity supply to 1,062 families in the regional center who had been left without power as a result of another enemy shelling.

As reported, it was not only Zaporizhzhia's power grids that were damaged by Russian KAB guided aerial bombs and UAVs; restoration work continued throughout the region's territory under Ukrainian control over the weekend.

"In total, 30 instances of damage to our equipment were recorded from Saturday through Sunday. Despite the constant shelling, power was restored overall to more than 17,000 consumers in 28 settlements in the Orikhiv and Novomykolaivka areas, in communities adjacent to Zaporizhzhia, and in the regional center itself," Stasevskyi said.
