On Monday, April 1, the Russian army struck Sumy region 22 times, 113 explosions were recorded. The Khotyn, Yunakiv, Krasnopil, Velykopysariv, Shalyhyne, Esman, Seredyno-Buda and Sveska communities were shelled. A person was also injured in the Seredyno-Buska community. - FPV drone shelling (1 explosion), an air strike from an aircraft with NAR missiles (4 explosions) and mortar shelling (3 explosions) were recorded in Seredyno-Budska community. One person was wounded as a result of the mortar attack.
- There were mortar attacks on the Esman community (12 explosions). FPV drone attacks were also recorded (3 explosions).
- The Russian army dropped 2 mines on the Shalygyn community.
- The Khotyn community was shelled with mortars (6 explosions), MLRS (20 explosions), artillery (4 explosions) and FPV drone attacks (1 explosion).
