Russians are exporting therapeutic mud from Chokrak Lake on the Kerch Peninsula to Moscow, according to residents of the village of Kurortne. This was reported by Krymsky Vet, according to UNN.

Every day they take out therapeutic mud from here. As they themselves admit, it is then taken to Moscow. There it is sold at exorbitant prices,

It is noted that the silt at the bottom of Lake Chokrak has medicinal properties. The mud of Lake Chokrak contains 3.6% of colloids and 0.84% of organic matter. This makes them one of the best in the world for use in medical practice.
