"Rumors are circulating on social media that after yesterday's air strike by the Nazis on the regional oncology center in Kherson, the radiation background has sharply increased, allegedly because of damaged equipment. The only truth is that there was an air strike - Russian terrorists hit the oncology center with two KABs," Mrochko wrote.
He noted that none of those in the building at the time were injured. However, the medical facility itself suffered significant damage.
"As for the radiation panic. There is no reason for it. According to the Kherson Regional Center for Hydrometeorology, the radiation level in the community is 12-13 μR/hour. Civil defense workers of the Kherson City Military Administration also drove the streets of the city to monitor the radiation background. It is normal. You can see the measurements on the video," Mrochko said.

The Ministry of Health reported that Russian troops struck the Kherson Cancer Center with two guided missiles, the building was heavily damaged, but patients and medical staff managed to take cover.
