Russian troops shelled Kupyansk in Kharkiv region over the past day, damaging private houses, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said on Thursday, UNN reports.
"Around 9:00 a.m., three private households and outbuildings were damaged in Kupyansk as a result of shelling (type of weapon - "Pion" system). Around 17:00, an enemy shelling took place in Kupyansk, damaging 2 private houses, a garage, a fence, no one was injured. Around 21:20, a private household and outbuildings were damaged during the shelling," Syniehubov wrote on Telegram.

According to the head of the RMA, about 16 settlements in Kharkiv region were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy: Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove of Kupiansk district, Budarky of Chuhuiv district, Vetarine of Kharkiv district, etc.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 21 enemy attacks in the area of Synkivka and two more attacks in the area of Petropavlivka in Kupyansk district," the head of the RMA said.
