Russian troops struck the border of Chernihiv region with drones and artillery over the past day. Nine explosions were recorded in two communities, the Northern Regional Office of the State Border Guard Service reported on Wednesday, UNN reported.

"During the day, Russian troops attacked the border of Chernihiv region with drones and cannon artillery. Nine explosions were recorded," the post on Facebook reads and lists:
- Novhorod-Siverska community: 2 explosions (probably from cannon artillery) in the area of Hai settlement.
- Semenivka community: 7 explosions (probably from cannon artillery and enemy UAVs) in the vicinity of Prohres, Halahanivka and Karpovychi.
There is no information on deaths or injuries among the local population as a result of the shelling.
