In the Russian Federation, the governor of Magadan decided to send reindeer skins to the Russian military "for camouflage at the front line," UNN reports.
According to the head of the Russian region, Sergei Nosov, this idea was put forward by local reindeer herders and activists of the All-Russian People's Front (ARPF). The governor said he would support the initiative.
"The properties of reindeer skin and wool allow us to hide equipment and shelters from thermal imagers. In addition, they will keep warm in the cold season. We will help ensure transportation, skinning and delivery to our fighters," Nosov writes.
