Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia today, with six people reported injured, said the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov on social media on Friday, reports UNN.

Fedorov had warned since morning about the threat of enemy strikes in the region with ballistic missiles, guided aerial bombs, and drones, and about explosions.
According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, after 11 a.m., there was a threat of a ballistic strike by the enemy from the east, and later the Air Force reported a "high-speed target heading for Zaporizhzhia."
After that, Fedorov confirmed the enemy attack: "The smoke that Zaporizhzhia residents see is the aftermath of the enemy attack."
Initially, he reported one injured person, but later the number increased.
"The number of wounded has risen to six. Medics are providing assistance," Fedorov wrote.
"Another terrorist attack in broad daylight," stated in a message by acting mayor of Zaporizhzhia Regina Kharchenko on social media.
