Russian propaganda is spreading false information about allegedly 2.4 million Ukrainian servicemen killed and missing. Such claims are untrue and are part of another disinformation campaign by the Kremlin. This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation, according to UNN.
Details
The CCD noted that enemy resources are actively disseminating information about allegedly 2.4 million losses in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The source of this information is said to be "Russian hackers" who allegedly hacked the databases of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the TCCs, and medical institutions
The Center emphasized that such statements are fabricated, and the figures cited by Russian propaganda have nothing to do with reality.
The "loss figures" cited by Russians exceed the total size of the Ukrainian army
They also recalled that this is not the first such information operation by Russia.
Previously, propagandists actively circulated the figure of 1.7 million losses. Having come up with nothing new, Kremlin fake-makers simply "added" another 700,000 to the old lie
The CCD believes that the main goal of such information dumps is an attempt to divert the attention of Russian society from its own losses at the front.
The enemy's goal is to divert the attention of its own society from Russia's losses at the front. It should be noted that Russia loses between 40,000 soldiers killed and wounded every month
