The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine plans to launch two major infrastructure projects, including the reconstruction of military hospitals in 12 cities, which is planned to be carried out in two years, as well as barrier-free access. This was stated by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov during a speech at the VII International Veterans Forum, UNN reports

Details

We understand that returning to peaceful life after hostilities is a difficult process. That is why the Ministry has created a psychological support department that deals with reintegration into civilian life. We are now launching two important infrastructure projects. The first is the reconstruction of military hospitals. Our goal is to reconstruct hospitals in 12 cities over the next two years. The first stage of renovation: Dnipro, Odesa, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Vinnytsia. The second stage of hospitals in Zhytomyr, Lutsk, Lviv, Poltava, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Khmilnyk

- Umerov said.

He noted that these projects will provide a high level of medical care for the military in all regions of the country.

Military medicine will be on par with our Western partners. We have great doctors, and we need to provide spaces where both doctors and the military will feel worthy

- Umerov added.

The second project, according to Umerov, is barrier-free access.

It will be implemented together with communities. We want every city, regardless of its size, to become barrier-free. Soon we will present this large-scale and ambitious project and start its implementation

 - added the Minister.
