Employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine conducted a series of searches in Ukraine and Poland in the case of purchasing weapons for the Armed Forces at inflated prices. This was reported by UNN with reference to the NABU statement.

On April 9, 2024, searches were conducted on the territory of Ukraine and the Republic of Poland as part of the case of possible procurement of weapons at inflated prices in April 2022 - February 2023
NABU investigators are investigating the supply chain of foreign weapons and checking information on possible artificial overstatement of their value through the participation of intermediary companies registered outside Ukraine.
The NABU emphasizes that the evidence collected will be used by detectives to provide a legal assessment of the actions of the officials. The investigation is currently ongoing.

The Bureau also noted that the current leadership of the Ministry of Defense is actively assisting the National Bureau in investigating criminal proceedings
Separately, the NABU explained that the searches on the territory of the Republic of Poland were possible due to the cooperation of Ukrainian law enforcement officers with the Criminal Terrorism and Murder Department of the Metropolitan Police Department of the Republic of Poland within the framework of the international legal assistance mechanism.
