In Kharkiv, due to the danger from the Russian Federation, schoolchildren will not be able to count on the full resumption of offline classes, but 6 metro stations have already been equipped, there is one underground school in the city, and several more are under construction.
This was announced by Igor Terekhov, the mayor of Kharkiv, in the telethon “United News”, UNN reports .
The danger remains. We cannot open our schools today. So we are working to ensure that our schoolchildren have the opportunity to study at least in a combined way. For this purpose, 6 metro stations have been equipped - by the first of September, they will be equipped - real schools will be organized there,” said Igor Terekhov.
The mayor also reminded that Kharkiv has the first underground school in Ukraine, which is designed for 900 students in two shifts, and announced three more similar institutions.
