Details
As noted, in June 2023, the "political expert" already received a 10-year prison sentence in absentia for his actions with confiscation of property. However, he faces more severe punishment for the new documented crimes. In particular, law enforcement officers found evidence of his cooperation with Russian special services.
According to the SBU, at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, Spir became one of the main mouthpieces of the Kremlin, publicly supporting Putin in the aggressive war against Ukraine. And after the capture of Kherson, the traitor was appointed the so-called "Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Mass Communications" in the local occupation administration of the Russian Federation.
It has been established that it was he who authorized the racists to blow up the towers of Ukrainian mobile and broadcasting operators when they fled the right bank
spear publicly called on the Russian General Staff to adjust missile strikes on Ukraine's energy facilities to completely disable them. For this, the command of the Russian troops awarded him the medal of "participant of a special military operation" in the summer of 2023.
SBU investigators have served the spy a notice of suspicion under four articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Art. 111(2) (high treason committed under martial law);
- ч. 5, Art. 111-1 (collaboration);
- Art. 436 (war propaganda);
- ч. 2, Part 3 of Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition of the legitimacy, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
It is noted that the propagandist is hiding from justice in the territory of the Russian Federation and the temporarily occupied Kherson region. Comprehensive measures are being taken to bring him to justice.
