The Navy is always ready, no matter if it is Christmas or another date. This was stated by Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk during a telethon and stressed that the Ukrainian side expects any "surprises" from the enemy, UNN reports .
Pletenchuk commented on what "surprises" can be expected from Russians at Christmas.
"In fact, it doesn't matter to us what date it is... The Russian dictator has a rule about dates, they usually tie themselves to dates, and we are always ready and always preparing. Therefore, I cannot say that something is changing for us in particular, no, the duties have been and are still taking place. We expect any "surprises" from our enemy," Pletenchuk said.
