One million one hundred thousand Ukrainians have already applied for the payment of 1 thousand under the Winter support program. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky in a video message, Reports UNN.
"Already in the first half of the day of operation of "support", one million one hundred thousand Ukrainians made applications for payment. And including almost 300 thousand applications for payment for children. In other words, the scale of the program and the pace of implementation are good. It is important that the government controls the operation of all systems in the program – that one hundred percent provide everything that is promised to people," Zelensky said.
The president noted that the government should also provide details of other support programs this winter and next year.

The program "Winter support"has been launched in Ukraine. Starting today, in the Diya app, Ukrainians can apply for state aid in the amount of UAH 1,000. The program will be valid for three months – from December 1, 2024 to February 28, 2025. In particular, it can be spent on charity by donating money to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky was petitioned to refuse to implement the new support program to provide 1000 UAH per person. In particular, people are asking to direct these funds to the production of weapons, in favor of financing programs for the rehabilitation of war veterans.
A petition calling for the cancellation or revision of the program of payment of 1 thousand UAH to Ukrainians received more than 25 thousand necessary votes.
People's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak , referring to the document on amendments to Government Decree No. 952 , reportedthat 5 billion hryvnias will be spent on "Winter support" of Ukrainians from the state budget this year, and 10 billion hryvnias next year.
First Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko noted today, December 1, that the financing of the Winter support program will come from the funds that were included in the 2024 budget.
