Rescuers from Khmelnytsky region rescued two people on the Dniester. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, UNN reports.

On July 17, at 4 p.m., on the Dniester River in Khmelnytsky Oblast, SES divers noticed a man in the water while patrolling the river. The 31-year-old man found himself in difficulty after being swept away from the shore. With the prompt help of specialists, he safely returned to land.
A few minutes before 17:00, the second incident occurred: A 21-year-old vacationer on a sup board got into a difficult position due to a strong gust of wind that blew him far from the shore. The young man tried to send signals for help, and fortunately, the SES rescued the vacationer and his boat, bringing them both to the shore unharmed.
Representatives of the State Emergency Service urge all citizens who plan to go on the water to wear life jackets and have communication equipment. It is also important to make sure that weather conditions are favorable for safe water recreation.
