Almost a thousand residents of Odesa Oblast who found themselves in difficult life circumstances received financial assistance totaling UAH 16 million 112.3 thousand. In particular, the support was provided to cancer patients and other vulnerable categories of the population. This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Oleh Kiper, according to UNN.

Kiper clarified that special attention is paid to helping those affected by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, namely:
- 13 people with moderate injuries received UAH 20,000 each, a total of UAH 260.0 thousand;
- 19 people with severe injuries received UAH 50,000 each - a total of UAH 950.0 thousand;
- The 16 families of the victims received UAH 100,000 each, a total of UAH 1,600.0 thousand.
"In addition, 49 people received one-time targeted financial assistance in the amount of UAH 2,850.0 thousand," Kiper informs.
