Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups trying to cross the border on the territory of the Dergachiv community did not enter the settlements where people live, said the head of the Dergachiv MVA Vyacheslav Zadorenko on the air of Suspilne TV channel, UNN reports.
The security situation in the community remains difficult. The enemy continues to systematically attack border settlements using MLRS, cannon artillery, FPV drones and aircraft bombs. Enemy saboteurs are constantly trying to squeeze across the state border in small groups, but our defenders quickly neutralize them. No cases of Russian subversive reconnaissance groups breaking through to populated areas have been recorded
Zadorenko also said that on November 25, around 15:15, the occupiers hit Slatyn with multiple rocket launchers. The shelling hit open territory within and outside the settlement. 4 private households sustained minor damage. 7 people suffered an acute stress reaction, they did not need medical assistance.
According to him, the strikes are targeting civilian and critical infrastructure, private residential buildings, outbuildings and civilian vehicles. Due to the shelling in the border settlements of the community, there are problems with electricity and gas supply. The enemy is deliberately destroying substations, transformers and power lines, the MVA chief said.
Currently, about 750 people still live in the border settlements, most of them in the Kozacholopan district. Most of them are elderly people. It is extremely dangerous to stay on the border under constant threat to life without access to the benefits of civilization in winter. That is why I am once again appealing to children whose parents still live on the border with Russia to persuade them to agree to evacuate. Together with the Kharkiv RMA, police and volunteers, we are ready to evacuate people at any time, the main thing is their desire
The head of the National Security and Defense Council's Center for Countering Disinformation denied information about a Russian offensive on Kozacha Lopan , saying that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are in full control of the border.
A sergeant of the RUBPAK unit of the Gart Brigade of the State Border Guard Service reported on November 25 that the Russian occupiers are continuing to try to create a buffer zone in Kharkiv region, and the situation remains difficult.
