The National Military Memorial Cemetery is completing preparatory work for the construction of the first launch complex. The tombstones will be made of natural light stone, financed from the state budget.

Preparatory work for the construction of the first launch complex of the first stage is already being completed at the National Military Memorial Cemetery. This was reported by the NMCC to a journalist from UNN.

At the National Military Memorial Cemetery. Preparatory work for the construction of the first start-up complex of the first stage of the NMP is being completed. As of now, 90% of the preparatory work has been completed before the start of construction of the first launch complex of the first stage,

NVMK indicates that the construction involves 6 stages of construction, each of which is divided into launch complexes:

The first stage of construction consists of two start-up complexes. The first one will include a columbine wall, open parking, fencing, an access road (driveway), local sewage treatment facilities, an artificial reservoir (pond), areas for solid waste containers, burial sectors, as well as utility networks and driveways.

During the construction of the second start-up complex, an administrative building, public transport stops, a mourning house, a funeral paraphernalia shop, a security building, an outbuilding, a hangar, wells, a public toilet, transformer substations, a memorial, a boiler house, two columbine walls, monuments, a pumping station, and local treatment facilities will be constructed, fencing, tanks, bus parking, access road (pedestrian part), well access, recreation area, bicycle parking, golf cart parking, entrance plaza, central plaza, open parking, underground modular waste collection systems, solid waste container areas, burial sectors, and utilities and access roads.

The National Military Memorial Cemetery states that the production of monuments for the fallen heroes will be funded from the state budget.

The construction of the burial structures will be financed from the state budget. The choice of material for the tombstones is still ongoing. The National Military Memorial Cemetery is currently searching for the best, most durable and aesthetically pleasing option to be placed on the graves of our defenders,

The NMPC says that the selection of material for the tombstones at the National Military Memorial Cemetery is ongoing.

After the final decision, a tender will be announced on the Prozoro platform. The main criteria for selecting the winner will be the lowest price and the best quality of the material itself,

It is also noted that all defenders, including unidentified ones, who will be buried at the National Military Memorial Cemetery will receive tombstones in the form of Cossack crosses and rectangular slabs with rounded upper edges that have similar outlines. The tombstones will be made of natural light stone, which can be quarried in sufficient quantities on the territory of Ukraine.

The government adopted a decision on the appearance of the tombstones at the National Military Memorial Cemetery (NMMC). The resolution stipulates that tombstones may have the form of a Cossack cross or a rectangular tablet.
