In Russia, on the evening of Friday, June 5, a flight from Moscow to Sochi was forced to land twice due to the threat of drone attacks. This was reported by UNN with reference to local social media channels.
Details
It is noted that the flight first made an emergency landing in Astrakhan; a second attempt to depart ended with an emergency landing in Mineralnye Vody.
Passengers of flight SU1132 said they departed from Moscow for Sochi on June 5 at around 6:00 PM. However, they were unable to reach their destination—the plane made an emergency landing in Astrakhan. This was because at that moment (around 9:00 PM), temporary restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft were introduced in Sochi due to the threat of UAV attacks,
It is indicated that the aircraft later attempted to fly to Sochi again, but flight restrictions were reintroduced there (at 11:00 PM). This time, the plane had to land in Mineralnye Vody.
"While we are sitting on the plane, waiting for instructions. The commander said there is no information; it will be provided later. We are all tired,"
