Experts from the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise identified more than 30 parts and fragments of the enemy missile that hit the Okhmatdyt children's hospital. This gives grounds to assert that the attack was carried out by with an X-101 cruise missile. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine Andriy Haichenko, according to UNN.
Details
According to him, in particular, the following were identified: a part of the rotary drive with fragments of the rocket wing console spar, fragments of the tail section with parts of aerodynamic rudders, a fragment of the engine, fragments of the engine outer skin with parts of the serial number and engine production number.
The Deputy Minister of Justice added that based on the video of the missile hitting the Okhmatdyt children's hospital available to the experts of Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, they made an approximate calculation of the size of the cruise missile - 7.5 meters.
"The specific engineering and design features of the found wreckage and the corresponding standard markings indicate that the Russian armed forces used an X-101 strategic air-launched cruise missile. Its length is 7.5 m, the warhead weighs about 400 kg, the maximum speed is 720 km/h, and the range is up to 5000 km," said Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine Andriy Haichenko.

The first to report that the most damaged facilities as a result of the Russian missile attack on the capital on July 8 were most likely hit by enemy X-101 missiles was Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise Oleksandr Ruvin.
"The parts and debris that have been identified as of this hour are poorly preserved and highly fragmented. Taking into account the available markings and design features, we can preliminarily say that the strikes were carried out by X-101 cruise missiles. The final conclusions will be submitted to the pre-trial investigation authorities after all the necessary examinations are conducted, " said Ruvin.
