McLaren Racing will unveil its new racing car for the World Endurance Championship (WEC) next week, UNN reports, citing Motor1.com.

It will compete in the "24 Hours of Le Mans" next year and will also feature a track-ready GTR version, "which a few very lucky customers will actually be able to purchase."
The two cars, the McLaren MCL-HY and MCL-HY GTR, will debut on May 4 and were developed in close collaboration between McLaren Racing and McLaren Automotive. Ahead of the debut, McLaren released a teaser image revealing its lighting scheme.
The car looks different from the one McLaren presented when it announced its entry into the WEC hypercar class. The accent headlights consist of a single panel wrapping around the lower elements, and the front end has a more rounded appearance.
The racing car will be equipped with a twin-turbo V6 engine from Autotecnica Motori, paired with a Dallara chassis. It is not yet known which engine will be installed in the track version, but McLaren will present both cars on May 4.
