In Podil district of Kyiv, a man was suspected of launching fireworks from a house window and detained, the Kyiv police reported, UNN reports.

"The offender was a 43-year-old resident of a house on Porik Avenue who was intoxicated. The suspect behaved aggressively, and explained his actions by saying that he was having a good time and launched fireworks for fun," the police said.
The police detained the man and seized material evidence in his apartment indicating his involvement in the crime. Criminal proceedings have been initiated over hooliganism.
