According to the newspaper, Gabriel Attal submitted his resignation to the French president today at the Elysee Palace, as he announced on Sunday evening after the results of the parliamentary elections.
But the French president is said to have asked Gabriel Attal on Monday at noon to remain the country's prime minister "for the time being" to "ensure the stability of the country.
