The Sykhiv District Court of Lviv has begun considering a motion to select a preventive measure for Oleh Havrylov, who is suspected of attacking police officers. This was reported by UNN.

The suspect was brought to the courtroom in handcuffs. When asked by journalists about the motives for his actions, he refused to answer. During the hearing, the man barely spoke and was in a glass box.
Havrylov's defense lawyer, Olha Huk, stated that her client sustained bodily injuries during his arrest. According to her, he was diagnosed with a rib injury, head bruises, and breathing problems.
The prosecution asks the court to select a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of detention without the possibility of bail. At the same time, the defense insists on house arrest, noting that the man has admitted guilt and repents of his actions.
The prosecutor, in turn, stated that the suspect refused to testify during the pre-trial investigation.
During the court hearing, Havrylov reported that he served as a private in the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, but in February of this year he left the military unit without authorization.
At the end of the hearing, the suspect stated that he regrets what he did, admitted his guilt, and asked the court not to place him in custody but to apply a preventive measure in the form of house arrest.

On the evening of July 8 in Lviv, in the Sykhiv district, a crowd tried to "free" a man from TCC employees under shouts of "shame" and began beating the official TCC vehicle, which, according to local public reports, was overturned.
The police and the local TCC indicated that the conflict occurred due to the detention of a military-liable man who was wanted.
