A russian military intelligence agent who operated in the Zhytomyr region was sentenced to 15 years in prison. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Security Service of Ukraine.

He also handed over to the aggressor the geolocations of several enterprises of the Ukrainian defense industry.
During the search of the offender's residence, the SBU seized computer equipment and mobile phones used by him in reconnaissance and subversive activities in favor of russia.
Based on the SBU materials, the court sentenced the offender to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
Based on the evidence collected, the court found him guilty under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law). The investigation was conducted by the SBU in Zhytomyr region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office.
