Investigators are looking into several possible causes of the accident that occurred on July 6 in Rivne region and killed 14 people. This was said by the head of the Rivne Regional Prosecutor's Office, Andriy Rudnytsky, during a briefing, UNN reports.
Several versions of this tragedy are currently being considered. One of them is that a truck's wheel was damaged, causing it to drive into the oncoming lane and collide with a shuttle bus
Other versions include the release of technically defective vehicles by the owner and officials, driver inattention, and violation of traffic rules.
According to Prosecutor Rudnytskyi, the scene was examined by experts and specialists to check various versions. 18 different examinations have already been scheduled, including automotive and forensic examinations, including blood alcohol tests of the drivers. Witnesses and eyewitnesses to the accident have also been interviewed. The investigation is ongoing. The bodies of all the victims have been identified
