Due to a large-scale failure of the Kyivstar telecommunications operator, air raid warning systems are not working in some regions of Ukraine. This is reported by local authorities, UNN reports.

In Sumy region, the city military administration said that a hacker attack on Kyivstar disrupted the operation of the airborne alert system. Citizens are advised to monitor air danger reports from official sources.
In Dnipro, the air alert system is also down . The Dnipro City Council said that the air raid alert can be found through special apps.
At the same time, citizens complain that in Dnipro home internet, mobile communications, public transport tracking, and some bus stop displays are down in some places. Also, some utilities are experiencing malfunctioning telephone hotlines.

In Kharkiv, instead, it was stated that some of the sirens of the warning system will not work for some time due to technical work. Citizens are advised to use the official Air Alert mobile application.
In Lviv , it was stated that the large-scale failure of the Kyivstar mobile operator did not affect the operation of the warning system. The Lviv regional military administration assures that air raid alerts can be heard on the street in the absence of mobile communication
The situation is similar in Khmelnytsky, Poltava and Zaporizhzhia. Local authorities assure that the air raid warning system is operating normally.

In particular, the Khmelnytsky Department of Defense explained that the air alert system in Khmelnytsky will work regardless of the work of mobile communications and the Internet.
The same statement was made by the press service of the mayor of Zaporizhzhia. They assure that everything is working as usual.
At the same time, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Philip Pronin, said that the warning system in Poltava is autonomous, has a high degree of protection and reliability.
