Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba receives irritated responses from Germany every time he calls on Berlin to transfer long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine. He said this in an interview with Politico, UNN reports.
Answering a question about Germany, which still cannot decide whether to supply Kyiv with long-range Taurus missiles, Kuleba said:
"You can quote me, I don't mind. But every time I answer this question, I get irritated responses from Berlin. Leave it to them." He also added that "they got themselves into this situation. Let them look for a way out."
Addendum
Last week, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz refused to discuss the delivery of Taurus missiles to Ukraine, calling such discussions "ridiculous," but emphasized that decisive military assistance to Ukraine is currently the most important message to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
