The head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper, does not plan to move to the post of Prosecutor General unless such a proposal comes from the president. He said this in an interview with Glavkom, reports UNN.

"I have been 'appointed' three times already. But it was all done by journalists. The first time I was 'appointed' was when Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova was still in office. I think this is happening in order to put me face to face with someone, so that there are misunderstandings.
I am a career prosecutor, mobilized. And today I was assigned to work in Odesa region. I'm happy with it, it's my homeland, I want to do something here, so I've had no offers. Such an offer can only come from one person - the guarantor of the Constitution. But the president was recently in the region and gave me a lot of tasks.
The information about the alleged appointment is more of a manipulation to create some discomfort for me in terms of work," he said.
