The head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Ukraine, Mr. Gael Vessier. Kiper reported this on his tg-channel, UNN reports.
He thanked the French side for their help and support. I also briefed the Ambassador on the security situation in Odesa region, on Russia's constant terrorist attacks on civilian targets and port infrastructure in Odesa region. He emphasized that Russia is deliberately destroying the ports of Odesa region, jeopardizing the food security of the whole world. In this context, they discussed the issue of strengthening air defense in the region
As a result of the meeting, Kiper expects to attract additional assistance for the region and intensify cooperation with the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region (Marseille).
"Mr. Veyer noted that the French Republic condemns the Russian attacks and is ready to help Odesa region in restoring the cultural heritage that was destroyed or damaged by Russian missile attacks," the head of the OVA summarized.
