Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said that the number of attacks in the city has decreased, but fighting and explosions continue in the region. He said this during a telethon, UNN reports.

The shelling in Kharkiv has decreased. We see that the last weeks have been quite calm, but there are still fighting and explosions in the Kharkiv region

- Terekhov says.

He says that the city is alive and the business is working. The mayor of Kharkiv notes that there are constant air raids in the city and that it causes serious inconvenience to people.

"We are working to set up a system of differentiated air alerts in Kharkiv, so that people clearly understand that if such an alarm is sounded, the target is flying toward Kharkiv," he says.
