On Friday morning, December 15, during fighting in northern Gaza Israeli forces mistakenly opened fire on three Israeli hostages and and killed them. The Times of Israel reports this with reference to IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, reports UNN.

Hagari added.

The hostages were identified as Yotam Haim, who was kidnapped by Hamas who was abducted from Kfar Azza, and Samar Talalqa, who was abducted from Nir Am. The name of the third hostage was not named at the request of their family.
