Inspection in 59th Brigade reveals no cases of criminal orders - Military Law Enforcement Service

The working group found no cases of criminal orders being issued in the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade. Management decisions that could negatively affect the performance of combat missions were identified, and measures were taken to prevent such cases.

A working group that conducted an inspection of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakov Handziuk  to investigate the circumstances of recent casualties among the personnel found no cases of criminal orders being issued. At the same time, some facts of managerial decisions and factors that could negatively affect the course of combat missions by the military unit were established. This is stated in the statement of the Military Law Enforcement Service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reports UNN.

Reportedly, in accordance with the decision of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a comprehensive working group conducted an official inspection of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakov Handziuk.

We worked with unit commanders and personnel, reviewed decisions and combat orders of the brigade command. In addition, we examined the organization of combat missions.

The working group that conducted the inspection did not find any cases of criminal orders being issued. At the same time, certain facts of managerial decisions and factors that could negatively affect the course of combat missions by the military unit were established

It is also reported that in order to prevent this from happening in the future, the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has taken appropriate decisions and taken a number of measures to prevent such cases. Individual officials of the brigade command have been brought to justice.

On July 15, it was reported that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine decided to send a working group headed by the Chief of the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to check the situation in the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakov Handziuk and to find out the circumstances of the recent losses among the personnel.
