The car accident occurred today, July 20, in the morning at the intersection of Mykhailo Hrushevskoho and Khutorska streets. Thirteen people are currently known to have been injured.
According to preliminary information, while driving toward the city center, the driver of the bus suddenly felt unwell, as a result of which he lost control and ran into a truck with a semi-trailer parked in the right lane.
So far, twelve passengers and a public transport driver have been reported to have sought medical assistance. All of them sustained injuries of varying severity.
Law enforcement officers continue to establish the full circumstances of the accident, after which it will be legally classified. The taxi driver will be tested for intoxication.
