In France, a citizen of Belarus suspected of collecting and transmitting information to Russia has been detained. According to the investigation, the man was filming an object of the company Delair near Toulouse, which produces drones for the defense sector of France and Ukraine, reports UNN citing Le Figaro.

According to the Paris prosecutor's office, the suspect was caught while filming a prototype of a military drone on the company's premises. Investigators believe that he subsequently transmitted the obtained materials to a contact in Russia.
The man is charged with transmitting information to a foreign state. If found guilty, he faces up to 15 years in prison.
The investigation is checking a possible connection to an arson attempt
French law enforcement is also investigating a possible connection of the detainee to an attempted arson of the Delair company, which occurred two days before his detention.
According to the investigation, unknown individuals threw several Molotov cocktails onto the factory premises, but the incendiary mixtures did not ignite. Currently, law enforcement is establishing all the circumstances of the incident and possible accomplices.
