In the first three months of 2024, almost 20,000 drivers exchanged their licenses due to their loss: 19,342 received a physical driver's license and 134 received an electronic one.

Details
During enemy shelling or forced evacuation, Ukrainian citizens often damage or lose their driver's licenses, but the Ministry of Internal Affairs service center reminds them of the possibility of restoring their driver's license.
The agency also notes that in the first 3 months of 2024:
- 19,342 people received a physical driver's license;
- in electronic form without using a plastic form - 134.

Important: the driver must bring a list of documents: a passport of a citizen of Ukraine with a mark of registration (can be submitted electronically in the Diia app), or a residence permit and taxpayer identification number.

During martial law, a medical certificate of fitness to drive is not required.
You can also restore the document online: in the Driver's Area or in the Diia app.
You need to log in, fill in all the fields, pay for the service and choose a convenient way to receive it at any convenient Ukrposhta branch in Ukraine, by courier delivery. Otherwise, the driver can receive the ready-made document at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
