Fakes are circulating online that from January 1, 2025, people with disabilities will be mobilized through the liquidation of MSECs and the alleged automatic cancellation of disability status. The Ministry of Health clarified the situation, UNN reports.
"Recently, fakes have been spreading that from January 1, 2025, people with disabilities will be mobilized through the liquidation of MSECs and the alleged automatic cancellation of disability status," the statement said.
The Ministry of Health provided official information.
"All people with disability status will continue to receive benefits, services, assistance and deferral from mobilization based on the conclusion of the MSEC during its validity period. The information that all men with disabilities aged 25-60 must undergo a re-examination to determine their disability is NOT true," the Ministry of Health informs.
It is noted that this category of people will be re-examined only if they had to undergo it during 2022-2024 but could not for valid reasons and in accordance with the exceptions in the legislation for the period of martial law.
"Both the MSEC and the expert teams of practitioners who will replace them from January 1, 2025, establish or cancel disability solely on the basis of the grounds and criteria defined in the legislation," the statement said.
