The head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy, Danylo Hetmantsev, has publicly admitted that the State Tax Service, whose informal supervisor he is called, is putting pressure on Ukrainian business, UNN reports .
Details
Speaking in his Telegram channel about the fact that in the future tax audits will be conducted according to a certain methodology and international standards, Hetmantsev noted that this should eliminate the possibility of pressure on business. In other words, he actually admitted that Ukrainian entrepreneurs are currently suffering from illegal actions of tax authorities.
This mechanism eliminates the possibility of pressure on business, when today the territorial authority can come to anyone. Under this approach, an audit will be conducted only when a high degree of risk is identified and the taxpayer is proven to the territorial authority to be a high risk for the audit

Blocking of tax invoices is one of the main problems that Ukrainian entrepreneurs complain about in the field of tax administration. According to business ombudsman Roman Vashchuk, the problem for business is not even the level of taxes, but the style of administration. He also added that the tax and customs authorities lose 90-94% of their cases in courts, either in the first instance or on appeal to the Supreme Court.
According to experts, this situation with the courts indicates that the tax authorities are abusing their powers, as the courts break down these decisions. In particular, economic analyst Pavlo Sebastianovych directly calls it "schemes".
Dmytro Oleksiyenko, a member of the Taxpayers Association Board, believes that MP Danylo Hetmantsev, head of the Verkhovna Rada Tax Committee, is behind this administration policy, as no important decisions are made at the State Tax Service without his knowledge. And he actually runs the tax office through his former assistant Yevhen Sokur.
In an exclusive commentary to UNN, former military officer and leader of the Democratic Axe party, Yuriy Hudymenko, said that the tax authorities operate a corruption scheme whereby regional tax officers collect bribes, pass them on to their superiors, who in turn give part of the money to the head of the Rada's tax committee, Danylo Hetmantsev.
According to him, in this way Hetmantsev can receive up to 2 million dollars a month.
