In Brovary, in preparation for the new heating season, repairs are underway on the city's heating mains. Brovary Mayor Ihor Sapozhko told UNN in a commentary where the utility is currently working and how many heating networks are planned to be replaced before the start of the heating season.

The mayor noted that the planned overhaul of heating networks in Brovary began almost immediately after the end of the previous heating season.
"Whether the heating season will start in an organized and timely manner depends on how well we work in the summer. This year, we have already replaced 422 linear meters of heating networks at 4 Maria Lagunova Street, 27 Heroiv Ukrainy Street and 17 Simon Petliura Street.
Work is currently underway to fill in two heating chambers at 4 and 11 Maria Lagunova Street and replace heating networks.
The plan is to replace heating networks with a total length of 980 linear meters by the beginning of the 2024/2025 heating season at Maria Lagunova, 1; 9; 11; Chornykh Zaporozhets, 57-A," - said Ihor Sapozhko.
The mayor added that, despite the difficult situation in the country, the overhaul of heating mains in Brovary did not stop. In 2022-23, almost 2,500 linear meters of heating networks were replaced.
